My Spring Break Vacation!

Spring Break was really fun but not nearly long enough. It stared for me on that Monday, we went to my lake house which is in Trinity, TX. It is on Lake Livingston, which is a lot of fun we spent five days fishing all day, even though it was really windy. The on Friday we went to Sam Rayburn which is another lake that is about a hour and a half away. There I caught a four pound black bass, which is the biggest I have ever caught. My parents and brother each caught a 3 pound black bass. Plus we caught a lot more fish which were all different kinds; including: white bass, yellow bass and crappie. The only bad thing about fishing is the gators in the lake. Another plus side is that I usually come back really sunburned but this time I came bake really tan, but I did come back with a lot of bug bites.

THE YEAR IS ALMOST OVER!

The year is almost over rand that means Christmas is almost here too. New Year's is also around the corner and I'm EXCITED because that means CHRISTMAS VACATION Is almost here and we do not have mid- terms this year and seniors don't have to take their finals. (Hopefully) Then I get to spend time with my family over the holidays. I also have a Debate tournament this weekend and I really want to win. Okay I just want to win a little but I can't wait for Christmas with the food and present. My favorite part of Christmas though is the decorations which are always so pretty.

My Future

College is just around the corner and I only have somewhat of idea I'm going to do. I am applying to Sam Houston State University to join their Criminal Justice Program to hopefully join the FBI. I want to major in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice and minor in Business. That is my number one choice because they have a great internship that I want to do and I love the area up there. I might want to transfer to Texas A&M after a couple of years there but I'm not positive that I want to do that because it is not that big of a school and I favor smaller schools over bigger one and that is only if I change my major. http://www.cjcenter.org/

How you can use BCIS in the real world.

All the stuff we are learning in BCIS can help us in the real world. Like I learned how to clean my computer and how to make newsletters and fliers and a lot of neat other things.
I also learned a lot of things I can learn for the future like i can write a company newsletter, and reports it can also help me write a college resume.

IKE!!

It all started at 9:30 p.m on Sept. 12 when my power went out at my Grandparents' house where I was staying. Since by that time I haven't had lights because later on my house lost it's lights also. So that's TEN days without electricity. I fell like I live in the 18th century which is not fun. We have also missed seven days of school. I hope we don't have to make all that up. So I got ready for school this morning by lantern which isn't exactly 18th century like but it is as close as want to be to that life.
The last four days I have been staying with my Aunt because she is the closes one with power. The light company said we should get lights by yesterday but they have changed that to Thursday hopefully so I'm hoping we get lights by then. From Thursday to Monday I had been staying at my Aunt's house watching T.V. and enjoying the A.C.. but I'm lucky looking at everything the people in Galveston have lost, their homes and all the other things they have lost compared to that I feel lucky.

Interview

My favorite food would have be a steak and a baked potato with just butter and cheese and bacon bits.
I don't really have a favorite type of music I like all types.
My favorite TV show would have to be Bones.
My favorite subject in school is History because i love facts and i love learning about the past.
The subject I excel in is probably history because I love it. I am also good at memorizing the facts and dates.
My strength are I am good at memorizing facts, I am also very organized and some sort of a perfectionist which you take as a strength or a weakness.
My weakness are I'm dyslexic, I'm also a bad speller and I'm not the best in math.
I do usually study for test and I do that by studying my notes and by making flashcards.
I would like to expand my views and techniques on how to use the computer and its applications.
I think as a team we should divide the work evenly and by strength of the subject.
I would make a great team member because I'm easy to work with and I am a hard worker.

The Last Three Weeks of School

These past weeks have been okay. The only thing is i have never had so much homework to do! BCIS and Office Aide are the only classes I don't have a lot of homework in. Debate doesn't have that much homework except preparing for tournaments which alright. Other than homework its been good so far!
